The Council of Europe’s Committee of Ministers has adopted a groundbreaking recommendation, the first international instrument explicitly addressing the intersection of young people and climate action. This historic move places youth participation, rights, and protection at the forefront of global efforts to combat the climate crisis, signalling a significant advancement for young people and the youth work field.

On the International Day for the Eradication of Homelessness, De Ambrassade’s Youth Information team (WAT WAT) reflected on their work tackling youth homelessness and poverty. By holding focus groups, feedback sessions, and forging new partnerships, they ensured their website effectively addresses the needs of young people.

The "PartnerShip" seminar hosted by PRONI resulted in the creation of a booklet featuring methods and tools from 11 youth organizations. The booklet serves as a valuable resource for future collaborations, particularly within the ERASMUS program, showcasing practical approaches and insights to improve youth opportunities across Europe.

The NextGen Youth Bootcamp in Timișoara brought together 27 young people and 19 emerging NGOs, equipping them with tools to drive change. The program continues with mentorship, grants, and support for project implementation. Several groups have gained legal status, with more in progress. Learn more about the programme! 

The Cyprus Youth Board introduced young people and youth workers to Artificial Intelligence through a series of workshops titled "Demystifying AI: The Artificial Intelligence Toolkit." Participants explored AI tools, learned to apply them in daily life and work, and discussed ethical implications and future trends.

50 young people from Baleares joined the IBJOVE Youth Ambassadors training sessions this November and December, building skills in youth information, critical thinking, and ICT. They also explored the uses and risks of AI and deepfakes.

The annual meeting of the Ibero-Insular working group took place in October in Pamplona, hosted by the Navarran Youth Institute. Over three productive days, 25 participants from Spain, Portugal, and Andorra gathered to review their ongoing work, exchange best practices, and plan the group’s priorities for the upcoming year.

From 3–5 November, ERYICA participated in the launch of the Virtual Reality in Youth Work project in Dublin, Ireland. This Erasmus+ KA2 initiative aims to engage young people who are often difficult to reach due to neurodivergences, physical disabilities, geographic isolation, or digital absorption.

Meic, Wales' helpline for young people under 25, now offers support via WhatsApp for added privacy and convenience. Since launching in July 2024, the service has promoted its use through targeted social media campaigns and updated materials.

The 13th Academy of Human Rights and Minorities by YVNO empowers young Albanians to advocate for human and minority rights through expert sessions, workshops, and practical case studies.

Eurodesk has launched the fourth edition of its Youth Info Survey, aiming to better understand how young people access information about mobility opportunities. The survey is available in 26 languages and will run from October 1st to November 12th.
